Welcome to our 2nd floor downtown Oswego historic home. This 3 bedroom 1 bath apartment has 1 king bed, 1 queen beds, 1 double bed, and if needed a pull out couch that is also a double bed. Original hardwood floors and other ornate details make this a memorable stay. An easy walk to downtown, our historic home is perfect for an escape to Oswego's downtown. Close to the river and lake, you can walk to many restaurants, shops, and parks.

Other Details to Note

You will have to climb 1 set of stairs to get into the apartment. Once upstairs you will have enough room to spread out and enjoy your time in Oswego.

Neighborhood

The house is on a relatively quiet street, despite being so close to the downtown social district. Some of the best local restaurants can be found all on the same block and during the summer months there are frequently outdoor concerts on Thursday nights right on the river. There is also a Farmers Market that runs during the summer months right in downtown on Thursday nights. Breitbeck Park is a 10-15 minute, beautiful walk or just a couple minute drive. It’s right on the lake with some of the best views of Lake Ontario, especially at sunset. It also had some renovations done to it recently so it includes an outdoor sports court for body weight exercising AND a brand new playground. There are also fire pits available for rental through the city parks department. The house is 1.2 miles from SUNY Oswego, or a 4 minute drive. It's 7.7 from the Nine Mile Nuclear Power Station and the James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant, or a 15 minute drive. There is street parking available right in front of the house, except during part of the winter. In that case, we can coordinate your parking arrangements.

Guest Access

You will have access to the entire second floor. This is a 2 unit home, however you will have your own privacy with a separate front entrance. With this apartment you do not have access to the driveway or backyard. We do ask that you do not hang out on the front porch after it gets dark as the lower level apartment has a bedroom window right off the front porch.

Brought my daughter to prom at Oswego HS. (We are from Syracuse) The Airbnb was perfect! Plenty of room for her to “get ready”. Me, to work comfortably and enjoy the home itself! And get to relax. Super safe neighborhood. I highly recommend!!!!

We had a great time staying at Jenna’s place. Location was perfect and within walking distance to many restaurants, bars, shops, local attractions. The place was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for 4 of us. The beds were comfortable and provided great nights sleep. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again the next time we are in Oswego. Thank you for being a great host!

Find us

There are taxis in town, but Uber and Lyft are also available. The bus system is also running all over near the house, the closest stop being at the corner of the block. There is also a level 2 EV charger one block away if you happen to need that. Once you download the app, it is free to charge. Oswego now offers Bird Scooters, available to rent with the Bird - Ride Electric app. These scooters are an easy and fun way to get around town and the app makes it easy to find a scooter available close to wherever you are in town. There are frequently many available very close by since the apartment is so close to downtown.
